Responsibilities

  • Reviewing industrial insurance claim files from the Department of Labor & Industries and self-insured employers

  • Create and update reviews of current client claims, as well as potential clients

  • ​Provide recommendations based on L&I policy and laws

  • Review wage calculations, legal decisions, and medical issues

  • Assist in communication with claim managers regarding claim progress

  • Communicating with clients when necessary

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the Industrial Insurance Act, familiarity with Department of Labor & Industries policies and procedures, an understanding of medical records, and the ability to review calculations for time loss, LEP, and PPD benefits.

Preferred candidates will have knowledge in medical insurance if not the Industrial Insurance Act. Additionally, experience with medical terminology is a plus.

We are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay range is $20–$40 per hour, based on experience.
